Crock-Pot Chicken and Dumplings

Easy crockpot chicken and dumplings you can throw these together before you go to work in the mornings and put your crockpot on low then when you get back home you can throw in the two cans of chopped biscuits and have dinner in 1 hour

1 1/2 to 2 pounds of boneless chicken
3 tablespoons Knorr chicken bouillon
1/2 of a teaspoon of thyme
1/2 of a teaspoon of poultry seasoning
1/4 of a teaspoon of pepper
 2 1/2 quarts of water
 6 tablespoons of flour
two cans of Grands Buttermilk Biscuits or Great Value buttermilk


1. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours
2. 1 hour before serving shred chicken
3. Make a slurry of 1/2 cup of water and 6 tablespoons of flour add to broth
4. Add biscuits cook on high 60 min.
5. Check for salt and pepper seasoning.

I made this in a 7 quart slow cooker plenty of room for the dumplings to spread.
