Best Green Beans & Bacon
Ingredients:
- 5 cans of cut green beans (you can use frozen also)
- 1/2 pound of bacon, cut into pieces and cooked
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 2/3 cup of brown sugar
- 7 teaspoons of soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- 3 Tbsp bacon grease
How to:
- Open the cans of green beans, drain, rinse and pour into the slow cooker. Add the cooked bacon on top of the green beans.
- Melt the butter and bacon grease stir in the brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder to make a thick sauce. Drizzle the sauce over the green beans.
- Cook the green beans on high for about an hour. Stir the green beans just before serving to mix up all of the ingredients.
