Chocolate Cream Pie

Ingredients 6 T Cornstarch 6 heaping T cocoa powder 1 C Sugar 1/2 t Salt 4 Eggs+ + *4 egg whites* 4¼ C Milk 1t Vanilla (I use 2tsp) 2 Tbsp Butter
 6 Tbsp sugar for meringue. 2 baked deep dish pie shells

NOTE**reserve all 8 egg whites for meringue. Save other 4 yolks for another use** 

 Stir together cornstarch, cocoa, sugar, salt in a saucepan. Pour enough of the milk in sauce pan to stir together well. In a Pyrex measuring cup heat the remaining milk 5 min. in microwave. Separate eggs putting the whites in mixing bowl for meringue (set aside whites). Whisk 4 yolks into cornstarch mixture, add a little hot milk whisking constantly to temper eggs cook over medium heat til thick stirring constantly. add 2 Tbsp butter and vanilla turn off heat. Pour in baked pie shell.

 Meringue 4 egg whites **for each pie** 6 t sugar Beat together well til peaks form. Spread meringue on pie sealing all the way to the edges. Bake at 350 for ten minutes or til brown

123 Butter Cake

3 cups sugar 3 sticks butter Whip for 3 minutes Add 5 eggs, 1at a time, beating after each one. 3 cups all purpose flour sifted., 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp soda ( whisk dry ingredients in a separate bowl 1 cup buttermilk ( 1 cup reg. Milk 2 tablespoons vinegar) Add buttermilk alternately with flour stirring after each addition. At this point if it's really too thick I add just a little bit more sweet milk. 2 teaspoons vanilla / or lemon or other flavors / Bake @ 375° for 1 hour. Check with toothpick for doneness. 
Glaze 1½ Cups confectioners sugar 1 tsp vanilla or lemon or other flavoring as desired Add enough milk to drizzle on cake.
 šŸ¤Variation add ½ pkg cream cheese, increase confectioners sugar to 2 cups 2 Tablespoons RealLemon juice, stir to combine, then add milk to desired consistency, apply.

Laundry Soap

RECIPE Laundry Soap Ready in 30 minutes 1 bar White Zote laundry bar 1 ½ cups 20 mule team borax 1 ½ cups Arm & Hammer Washing Soda Grater 8 qt soup pot Long wood spoon Water. Clean 5 gal bucket Fill your soup pot half full of water and bring it almost to a boil.  Grate up one bar of Zote soap laundry soap. Add soap to water in the 8 qt pot, stir with a wooden spoon. Continue stirring til all melted and combined. Turn off heat.  Add 1 1/2 cups arm and hammer washing soda and 1 1/2 cups of 20 mule team Borax. Stir til It's all melted and combined. Then fill your bucket half full of warm water and pour soap into bucket one blender half full at a time that you have blended well. Or use Immersion blender.   Stir with your big wooden spoon. Add water if you need to.  At this point you can either refill your recycled laundry containers or leave it in the bucket with a measuring cup and take it to the laundry room. I use 1\8 - 1/4 - 1/2 cup Depending on the size of the load and how dirty the load.

Bulk Taco Seasoning

INGREDIENTS 5 tablespoons chili powder 2 teaspoons garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne or red pepper flakes optional 2 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 2 tablepoons ground cumin 2 teaspoons sea salt 1 teaspoon pepper INSTRUCTIONS Place all the ingredients in a bowl. Stir to combine. Place the seasoning in an airtight container. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. use approximately 2 tablespoons of seasoning mix= 1 pkg bought taco seasoning.

Bulk Brown Gravy Mix Recipe

Ingredients: 1/4 cup flour 1 Tablespoon beef bouillon granules 1 Tablespoon onion powder 1 Tablespoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Dash of dried parsley Procedure: Mix the ingredients thoroughly Store in airtight container until needed How to Use the Dry Gravy Mix: Mix the 4 Tablespoons of dry gravy mix with 1 cup of cold water in a saucepan. Whisk until smooth. Heat at medium until the sauce thickens, then add another cup of water and whisk once more until smooth. If you want to enhance this brown gravy recipe, you can also add fried onions and maybe some butter.

Cream Cheese Lemonade Pie

Cream Cheese Lemonade Pie Prep Time 15 mins Here is a delicious recipe for summer or a potluck. So refreshing and delicious! This is a no-bake dessert. You can also use a store bought crust. Ingredients For the Pie 1 5 oz can Evaporated milk 1 3.4 oz box of instant lemon pudding mix, one small box 2 8 oz packages of cream cheese 3/4 cup frozen lemonade concentrate For the Pie Crust 2 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs 1/3 cup sugar 2/3 cup butter, melted Or you can use 1 graham cracker crust, 9 inch (making this a no bake dessert) Instructions Preheat oven to 350° For the Pie Crust In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and whisk together until well combined. Press graham cracker crumbs into a deep dish pie dish and make sure to go up the sides. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool. For the Creamy Pie In a small mixing bowl, combine a 5 oz can of evaporated milk and pudding mix. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes (mixture will be thick). In a separate medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Gradually beat in lemonade concentrate. Gradually beat in pudding mixture. Spoon mixture into cooled graham cracker crust, or into a premade graham cracker pie crust. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. You might end up with more graham cracker crust mixture than what is needed based on how thick you like your crust.

No-Bake Boston Cream Pie Cheesecake

Ingredients

CHEESECAKE

  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping
  • 2 packages instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 cups milk
  • 16 ounces cream cheese room temperature

CRUST

  • 24 vanilla sandwich cookies
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted

CHOCOLATE TOPPING

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips + more for topping
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Directions

CHEESECAKE

  1. In a large bowl, whip the cream cheese until light and smooth. 
  2. Add milk and pudding mix and beat until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the prepared whipped topping. Set aside.
CRUST
  1. Melt butter. In a large Ziplock bag add vanilla sandwich cookies and 
  2. crush until they resemble coarse crumbs.Add in butter and mix together.
  3. Add crust to 9x13 baking dish and press onto the bottom of the pan.
  4.  Use the tip above of using the bottom of a measuring cup.
  • Add cheesecake on top and spread until smooth.
  •  Make chocolate topping.

CHOCOLATE TOPPING

To a small saucepan, add chocolate chips, butter, sugar, milk, and
 heat over medium-low heat while constantly stirring until melted and
 smooth. If you are using the vanilla, add this in.
Pour topping over chilled cheesecake. And top with chocolate chips if 
you desire. Place in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Cut and serve.
